With a capacity for more than 68,000 people, Wanda Metropolitano has become one of the biggest football stadiums in Spain.
This new museum has an area of 1,400 square meters where you can check in a fun and interactive way the centenary history of the club, as well as the signature values that identify los atléticos.
Our guests will immerse the Atlético’s feeling which is deeply rooted in Madrid but with a great following from fans around all over the world. You will also experience all the successes based on our values of humility, teamwork and sacrifice, told in first person by current and historical players who will bring their first-hand experiences. You will know how atlético feeling is inherited from parents to their children and the way of being part of a unique fanbase.
Definitely, this is a unique space in which a large quantity of historical objects coexists with an immersive experience that goes through an Atlético’s time machine in which unique, relevant and valuable moments of its history are relived. Interactive screens, binoculars, large projectors, interactive phone booths, virtual reality and interactive games will make all visitors become first-person protagonists in Atlético de Madrid history.
Despite its recent inauguration, thousands of visitors already know the soul of this stadium, also known as La Peineta thanks to this tour:
Walk through the tunnel of dressing rooms to the lawn, the moment where players feel the nerves before the game, where you will feel the emotion while you see the photos of the players who have made history and adrenaline when you step on the field and imagine more than 67,000 people chanting your name.
Once in the field, feel like the Cholo sitting on the bench or respond to reporters in the mixed zone.
Admire the stands and how its innovative cover design makes it an element-proof field.
